java applets freeze with new java runtime environment 6 update 1 and 2

Hi there, I have a strange problem. At work, I have 2 computers. Both are up to date with all security updates and IE updates as well as previous java versions. Directx and firefox/IE versions are up to date also. Anyways, on one computer, the newest java version works fine but on the other computer with exact same setup, the new java version locks up the computer everytime I run a website with java use. That computer works fine with java 5 update 11 but I can't play pogo games with update 11, all other java applets run fine with update 11 except for pogo. Since I like to play pogo a lot, I need to get java 6 working. Any ideas?

There is something in one machine (either hardware or os or other installed program) that cause the combination of Pogo applets and Java to react badly.

You 1) might be able to identify the cause, or 2) could report the problem to Pogo, or 3) could replicate the os and other programs from the good machine to the problem machine, hoping that the problem is not hardware.

Or forget the issue and don't use Pogo from the problem machine.
