eTrust LDAP and JNDI Password Change

I'm trying to allow a user to change his/her password using JNDI, however, I've gone through 5-6 pages of this forum and it seems that everyone is using JNDI with AD. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'd be more than happy to guide you on the path to righteousness and help you migrate from eTrust to Active Directory :-)

You might also find that AD may be more attractively priced than the products from CA !

On a serious note, you probably want to look for an attribute named userPassword. However I have no idea how eTrust stores passwords(reversibly encrypted or one-way hashed) or how it controls access to a password attribute.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, the eTrust LDAP was implemented before I started with this company (which has turned out to be a decision we're all regretting) and I'm not high enough on the totem pole to do anything about it. :(
