system clock keep in having wrong time.

I turned off xntpd I also turned off the ntpdate in crontab.what could cause such a thing?

Hi, ntp will update the time with standard time server mentioned in the ntp.conf file, every five minitue it will syncronized with time serverif you disable it will not update your time according to the standard timechemmuttana at 2007-7-12 18:28:24 >
