SOLARIS 10

help me please..

i am currently working in company having 55 workstation and using Microsoft XP both server and workstation. As a new system administrator on my company i would like to use SOLARIS 10 as my internet server, is it a good idea? i am new in Solaris 10.. please help me..thnks..
