RCA input connector?

On Sun Ray 1, 100, 150 models, there is an RCA connector on the rear for video input. However, I can't find much documentation on how to use this. The only application that I've been able to find that says it can work with this input is SunForum (a videoconferencing application), which is no longer available on Sun's website. Is there a simple "Show me the input" application, or an interface that can be used? I have also heard that JMF has a way of interfacing, but I don't know how to tell it to look there. Also, I don't want to have to write my own program to use the video in. Please advise.

Yes, there is a sample application called "vit" that will allow this. I believe it was never widely released but someone internal to Sun should be able to track it down for you.It certainly works.

Unfortunately, we do not have a support contract or internal contacts at Sun. Could you or someone internal to Sun send me a copy? My e-mail is wyang AT tjhsst DOT edu.
