HA-Oracle Question

Dear gurusI wanted to run Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g R2 in same cluster ( two node ) , in different Resoures Group .runnning on Solaris 9 the databases are quite small in size Is it possible to do , any hint will be helpful Regards

Hi,

just keep them as seperate as possible.

Different device groups (Metasets,Diskgroups),

Different Oracle Users,

Obviously different Ports for the listener.

Although they are from a small size, trim the IPC (shared Memory etc.) resource usage of the databases to an amount you can satisfy with your storage, and specify the IPC settings.

It should work that way.
