prepare disk for instalation

i can not install Solaris 10 because my disks label is EFI instead of SMI. I found solve of this problem in archive, i know i should change the label by format -s but it is impossible because when i attempt i receive message "no disk found". Do you know how i can change disks label in other way?

Quite useful tool for disc preparation is System Rescue CD (derivation of Gentoo Linux distribution). It does not solve all problems but can help (interactively!) in many situations. At the moment I do not remember exact WWW address, but You can locate it with google.Good luck!
