Solaris 10 on V40z

Hi,

I am installing Solaris 10 on V40z which comes with a trident blade 3D graphics and using an old compaq v55 monitor. After installation, Java Desktop does not come up and it stays in init 3.

What is the likely problem and remedy? This is really frustrating it seems Solaris always have these issues.
