Activating Port 25

Hi,I have installed Solaris 10, with sendmail and imap, but port 25 does not work from a terminal. Only works from the console of the server.I have checked services file, and the line for port 25 is not commented.Port 110 reply OK!What is missing?Thanks

You might have set the machine up in "secure by default mode" which means that sendmail only listens to local connections so it can only send mail out not receive mail.Trysvccfg -s sendmail setprop config/local_only = falsesvcadm restart sendmailrobert.cohena at 2007-7-12 21:56:01 >
