SunOS 5.8 library compatibility

I have a static library (C and CPP) built in SunOS 5.8 and now have to move to SunOS 5.10. I have taken the built libraries of 5.8 and built executable in 5.10. So can anyone please tell me if this would cause any problems in runtime or do i need to re-build the libraries in 5.10?

Should be fine. Backwards compatability normally works.
