Multipack not detected ( V880 )

Dear all

I have Solaris 10 running on V880 with Ultra320

PCI/PCI-X card in 66 Mhz slot .

SCSI HBA is connected to Multipack SCSI IN port

Out port SCSI Terminator is connected

Multipack can be detected at Ok prompt but not at OS

level please see the console message below & i have

done following nvramrc setting

here how i solved this problem

1- move the scsi PCI card to 33 Mhz slot

2- and manually set his

SCSI card to not use Ultra SCSI speed and the problem went away. I tried

that and it worked. Figuring I was on a roll I manually set the card to

only use Ultra SCSI speed. Well it worked like a charm!

Adding 'set scsi_options = 0x3f8' in the /etc/system file solved all of my problems.
