Need help in installing solaris 10.

I have 4 cd set of solaris 10. I have an 80 GB hard disk with four partitions(NTFS). My current o/s is xp. Do i need to do any partitions in my hard disk before starting the installation? (I mean deleting any logical drive).

Previously i tried installing by removing the logical drive for a partition(making it free space). But at the time of installation it is selecting the whole hard disk for installing solaris.

you need a raw partition ie non formatted for win xp, and when you boot from solaris disc there would be option to select complete hdd or use the raw partition, there you can use fdisk.
