Detect hardware error string

I am not aware of any such document.

In a past incarnation, when I was in the Sun Solution Center,

we would just egrep the messages file(s) on `warning`, or on `fatal`, or on `error`.

( ... or perhaps on `dimm`, or on `psu`, or the like;whatever sort of item I expected to find. )

After a while, with familiarity and experience, I no longer even did that.

I'd just speed-read the file until such words or phrases visually jumped out at me.

Then I'd examine the file more closely.
