Has anyone been able to get any sort of meaningful interfacing in to the raid system so that changes in the raid array can be notified. As it currently stands the only notification of any changes in the array is via a popup in windows, No event logs, no means of notification, no nothing, which makes the notion that the x2200 is suitable in an enterprise class environment interms of its raid system abit of a joke.

these forums are user-to-user, there are only very few users of x64 systems that contribute (but more who only read the threads).
From your post ("event log") I assume that you use Windows 2003 Server. Have you browsed the Microsoft Forums or NVIDIA Forums?
The driver from NVIDIA supplied with W2K3 Server should add an entry to the event log (system or application). The pop-up is triggered by an event. Does NVIDIA supply software that may fit for that purpose ?
Try to open a service case with Sun (1 year hardware warranty, system shipped starting September 2006). Unfortunately W2K3 Server might require a service contract (software) to be covered.
