Configuring SS0 between Portal and Mail & Calendar Channels
Hi All,
I have installed JES 2005Q4, and I wanted to configure mail and calendar channels for the Portal desktop. I followed the instructions given in the following URL,
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-0059/6n2gtes9p?a=view
But I am still not able to view these channels on my portal desktop. I am not sure what else to do. It would be really nice if someone could help.
Thanks & Regards,
Soma.

Hi,I made the JSPTableContainer as my default channel name and default edit channel name and added the mail, calendar, UWCcalendar and UWCmail channels to this container. I am not sure whether this would work.Regards,Soma.

Are the channels appearing but with an error message that says something like "Error accessing content..." or the channels do not appear at all on your desktop?
If the channels do not appear at all then there is something wrong either with your SSO adapter configuration or some jar file is missing from your classpath. I'd first check the portal logs to look for any error messages. You should see a related error message for the mail provider or calendar providers. Also check the SSO adapter configurations to ensure that everything is in order and the configuration that you have configured in your channel's Display profile properties, actually exists. If there are any jars missing then you should see a related message in the portal logs.
If the channels appear but with an error message, then check your SSO adapter configuration again. You may have some incorrect values for the properties such as host name, user id and password. Again the portal logs should help you narrow down the problem.
