Internal Authentication Login
Hi Friends,
I am new to this Portal Server7.1. Can any one of you help me in,
How to add the Users in the Organization to this Portal Server 7.1?
My need :Dont want to create a separate login for the users( of company/organization) in this Portal Server. I want to Configure with the LDAP server/Active Directory of the Organization for the Login.
I need to use the Organization`s LDAP server to authenticate for this Portal Server 7.1
Is this Possible?

Its possible. Try the following:
1) Create a new realm
2) Click on the new Realm and click on Authentication
3) Click Advanced Properties
Change "User Profile: Required" to "Dynamic"
4) Click Module Instances -> LDAP
Enter the credentials of your organization ldap server
5) Add "Administration" to the services of your organization
6) Edit "Administration" and add the required services for portal:
SunPortal?DesktopService
Please note that "SunPortal?DesktopService" depends on the name you gave your portal. Just check a working user for the correct name of the service.
You should now be able to login to your new organization by browsing to
http://SERVER/amserver/UI/Login?org=DN_OF_NEW_REALM
