EDI/Mercator Developer

Hello All,

I have an interview tomorrow on EDI/Mercator Developer. I wanted to get a job in java, and this opportunity has nothing to do with java programming. its a 4 month contract just curious is it going to be good on my resume this EDI experience or not? is it worth to go to another state in US to work for this position or stay where i am right now and find some positions in java.

Thanks

That's about as relavent of question as what you asked us. The answer is highly dependent on your current situation and your immediate, short range, and long term goals as a developer. If you're going to try to tunnel into a Java only career, then deveation from that path really does not make a lot of scense.

But on the other hand, I'm working now as an Oracle DBA making much more money than I did as a Java or VB or Windows Developer. Only you know and can decide what you want and where you want to go.
