Don't mark your question as urgent. It's only urgent to you. Nobody here cares, and it's rather arrogant to try to tell us that we should consider your question more important than others'.
And don't use exclamation points. That's like shouting. Most people don't want to help someone who shouts at them.

Very PC if you jverd. I was thinking this one might be the straw that broke your back.

It's getting close. :-)
I know people stress out about their deadlines, and I certainly don't want to discourage anyone from seeking help, but there's such a lack of common sense, common courtesy, and just basic thinking for two seconds about what one is saying before posting that it makes me want to tear my hair out. No mean feat, as my haircut looks like I just joined the Marines.

@jverd
Sorry but i really am wondering now which world do u belong to.
It is the most obvious fact that in my problem I would be expressing my urgency and as a matter of courtesy, I would express as much urgency as required. The problem might not be as grave for you as it could be for someone else. You should move out of your burrow and learn some etiquettes on how to speak at public places, this is a sincere advice.
Now ppl pls try and help me.
you need to contact the domain people. Forums people will help you debug. so call now.

No, YOU are the one who needs to learn etiquette. I promise you, NOBODY here cares about your urgency. It is completely irrelevant to anybody here who might answer your question. When you mention your urgency, you are effectively telling us that we should consider your problem to be more important that others' problems. That is arrogant and inconsiderate. People here answer whichever questions we want, when we want, for our own reasons.
If you need something that urgently, then pay somebody to do it for you. Don't expect special consideration from volunteers who do this for fun.

I can assure you that the people capable of helping you on this site, don't give a rats a*s about your problems or how urgent they may be for you. Wait your turn, when/if someone takes the time to help you then great. Otherwise ... do as jverd mentioned and pay someone to help you. Coming to these forums and arguing with the people who may potentially help you is not a wise idea.

I'll give you a good hint. It's a PEBCAK. If you don't know what that is, google for it.

Oh goodie! a live one!
Mind if I take a seat and observe?
This is a sincere entertainment!
Checks time.... curses, missed the main feature!

@OP, insulting jverd is not going to ingratiate you with anyone here. God luck getting help!
And really, what's so urgent about that question anyway? You're only a student, nothing much bad is going to happen if it takes you a day or two longer to find the answer. And fifty years from now nobody is going to remember anything about it. No big deal.
again i say... in the problem the urgency is specified by the problem secifier.
If any1 who does not want or CANNOT give a soln... must not go for it.
it's completely based on liberty. u want to or u CAN... go for it... else shove off
/*n if u thot i insulted any1... it was an equivalent reply to what i got... */

For sure none of u ll ever b successful w/ clients. At the backbench... idk
lol...
Here is a soloution to the problem:
Just change the server at the resident machine. This means that currently if the resident machine(hosting your domain) is using, for eg. win server 2003, install jakarta-tomcat there and shift the site to that server. The problem will be solved. Then you can use the port reference 8080 to access the site contents.
I hope this does the trick.
@ALL
I dont think the person did anything wrong in specifying urgency. It's his prob and for him to decide how urget is it for him. One who is not interested, wont reply.

Then - simply speaking - you are not familiar with the way these forums work.
@OP: Learn to type full words as well. SMS speak doesn't fly here. Use English with proper grammar and spelling. These are international forums. It is quite rude to come in here and type like a bumbling idiot.
> ...
> @ALL
> I dont think the person did anything wrong in

Well, then you disagree with quite some forum members here. IMO, it's plain rude to flag your question as urgent. It implies that you think your problem is more important than other people's problems and/or the time of the members answering to your question.
> It's his prob and for him to
> decide how urget is it for him.
If it's only his problem, then why post the URGENT!!! at all?
> One who is not
> interested, wont reply.
A lot of people answering questions here ignore such posts. But if no one mentions to the OP that it's not wise to flag questions as urgent, s/he might keep doing it and will be missing a lot of valuable answers that way.

You're kind of slow, aren't you?
People here DO NOT WANT to hear about your urgency. Mentioning it CANNOT help your cause, and will probably hurt it. If you don't believe me, look at how this thread is going.
You also do not control who answers or what they say.
> For sure none of u ll ever b successful w/ clients.
Wrong.

He did.

And that's fine. But that urgency is his and his alone. By communicating it here, he's implying that we should consider his problem to be especially important. That's presumptuous and arrogant.

> For sure none of u ll ever b successful w/ clients.Man, I can't believe I missed that one.@OP: My bank statement would indicate otherwise.
a sweet bunch of kids cribbing abt their misunderstanding... lolNM..thanks CodeMan. the thing worked fine. hats off to u.dont mind what these ppl say, they dont know how to behave in public forums.:)
> a sweet bunch of kids
No, junior.
> cribbing abt their
> misunderstanding... lol
Oh, we understand just fine. We've seen dozens or hundreds just like you.
> dont mind what these ppl say, they dont know how to

That would be you. You marking your problem as urgent is rude and arrogant. Us pointing that out to you is just fine.

> a sweet bunch of kids cribbing abt their> misunderstanding... lolOh, I predict that the next time you post here, you'll have changed your name and your tune.
