Installation Problem

I'm having an a problem installing the N1 System Manager on a v210 running Solaris 10 and with the Recommended Patches installed. The installation will make it to the last part and then hang and if I run the installer again it shows as partially run and continues to hang:

8. Install user interface components.[Completed]

9. Install service container components.[Completed]

10. Install N1 System Manager.[Partially Run]

Here is what I got out of the install logs:

Installation of <SUNWn1hss-servicescr> was successful.

And saw this in messages:

[ID 702911 daemon.crit] org.logicalcobwebs.proxool.ProxoolDriver.connect : Problem

cacao[15655]: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] com.sun.hss.services.dbconnection.DBConnectionUtil$ConnectionHandler.finalize : Resource leak recovered: closed database connection in finalize(): proxool.gsps

If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with a T2000 running Solaris 10 Sparc 11/06. I

install N1 and it goes through the first 9 steps no problem, then it just

sits on step 10. I did a truss on the Java process and it apears to be running but it seems to be running in a loop. I did the same install on a X4200 and it went through no problem.

Any ideas.

Peter.

Could you please try to get rid of the file(dir)/tmp/policyand run the installer again (it should continue with failed step) ?The error in messages is pretty much harmless, there is a connection pool which gets restarted, that's why it's warning only ;)
