MTA problems
Hi, I got a problem with messaging server 6.3.
Problem 1
It seems that the outgoing MTA has to few processes to server outgoing mails. Which parameter or config parameter do I need to change.
Problem 2
When the outgoing MTA server is getting a delivery error it holds the undelivered mail for about 14 days, how can I change that, I want the the undelivered mail to disappear after 4 to 5 days.

Hm. A rare issue. How many messages are you sending? What makes you believe you need more processes?
Have you read the unofficial tuning document I often refer to?

Check the setting you have in the imta.cnf file for the keyword, "notices" The last number immediately after that keyword governs how long messages are allowed to sit in the queue.
