I need your help with regards to sending SMS from WTK 2.2 emulator to actual mobile number...
Here is the scenario I will send SMS from WTK to a real mobile number example:
+639371234567....
Would this be possible without using any gateway? What are the requirements or steps to be done. Please need your help !

not possible without a gateway...
you need to have an sms server

What If I like to create a j2me application that can send an SMS with customized format using peer to peer (meaning I downloaded the jar file to one of the phone and use it to send SMS with a customized format) and send it to other number...
Do you have a sample source code that can send simple SMS to other mobile number...I have tried the WMA demo from suns WTK/ SendSMS it can send an sms but I cannot received it from another number.
Please help and Thanks in advance...
