No Network Connection

Hello,

i searched the forum but could not get any information.

I have developed a small application which does some data exchange with a .NET Webservice. Everything is working fine. But when i test my application without a network connection then the whole handy gets down. The handy is model Nokia 5500 Sport.

How can i check if there is a network connection available? I could not find anything about it in the internet. Some example code would be very helpful.
