File transfer on mobile phone over different gateway (Auto roam)

Need help on these questions.

Is it possible to establish an http connection over different gateway/telco.

As in SMS procedures, when it one country(A), it will route back to its own country(B) and to the destinate country(C) which maybe another totally different country from country A and B.

And of my knowledge MMS/GPRS may not be possible as telco do not have inter agreement on this issue.

Does this apply to http or web browsing application?

What i need in this project is to design a application to upload files to a server through the use of an mobile phone using http protocol or any available option.

As long as you don't change the apn you can go anywhere where there is GPRS support without losing your connection. It is no problem at all.The apn puts you in your home providers network, no matter where you are.
