how to use JDBC database connection in Solaris

Hi all,

I am new to Solaris and i want to create an application using JDBC database connection.

I want a small piece of code, probably a login page code that verifies the username from aOpenOffice database (.odb) file. I am particular to know the driver name, etc. If possible give the code using JNDI loopkup.
