extremely slow network-based installation of sol-nv-b64a-sparc

Hi,

+ installation of the latest SolarisExpress for sparc is extremey slow.

+ Installation server has Solaris 8 (E450) and the target machine is a Netra X1.

+ The first 881.93 MBytes have been installed over the period of about three to four hours.

+ The installation is now "stuck" at "Installing: JDK 6.0 Runtime Env. (1.6.0)" some 4 hours.

+ Using snoop I can see that about 13000 packets were exchanged in the previous 1 hour.

+ May be I will leave untouched overnight....

+ Any idea what is happening here?

+ Any help, comments, suggestions, experiences welcome.
