Authorizations of Solaris accounts

Hello!

When I load users from a Solaris Resource, the attribute value of "Authorization" contains all Authorizations which are shown when typing the command "auths". Among others there is "solaris.jobs.users" listed.

But with this value the creation of a new Solaris account on another resource is impossible. I get this error:

UX: usermod: ERROR: solaris.jobs.users is not a valid authorization. Choose another.

And of course, when I try to set the authorizations manually with the usermod-command, there is no "solaris.jobs.users" because it is inherited from the "Basic Solaris User" in /etc/security/prof_attr

How can I fix this issue to create Solaris accounts with the IDM?

TIA

Stephan

Well if you're not planning on modifying these authorizations I would just set them to Read Only in the attribute schema. That way you won't be attempting to update the value. If you ARE planning on provisioning this attribute then I would make sure your sudo access can modify this value and assign it.
