Problem with configuration sun one directory server 5,2

Hi,

I have a problem when i try to install sun one directory server 5,2 on my computer with windows Xp.

The configure log is:

Configuration of the Directory Server failed.

Error Directory Server configuration failure

Checking connection to the Configuration Directory Server... failed.

The Admininistration Server cannot be configured.

Error Administration Server configuration failure

Error Configuration of the server(s) failed

When i try to uninstall the sun one 5,2 the removing configuration log is:

Warning: Removing configuration only on the local host.

Administrator Server entries will remain in the Configuration Directory Server

Warning: Another configuration detected on the local host in still operational

UnConfiguration of the serever(s) succeeded.

I use Windows Xp, with a Java virtual machine 1.4.1

have you updated your /etc/hosts file with your server entry?do you have anything else running on the default LDAP port?have you tried installing the software previously?thanksndrb

1) I have update my file host and re-install Sun one but the problem still work.

Now my hosts file is:

127.0.0.1localhost

127.0.0.1MOBIL10.ec2000.local#this hosts is add before re-install Sun One

3) Last week i try to install Sun One and the directory server work fine after I uninstall it.
