licence

I'm with a small company which does'nt have an IT department and I've discovered that a few areas of my job would be a lot easer if i could develop my own software, I was wondering what kind of licence I would need to use Java to develop such programs,I've looked through the sun site but have'nt found any thing related to my plight ,maybe I'm missing some thing Could any body help?
