Installation Help Needed - No Way to Run Program

Hi,

I downloaded the Java SE Development Kit and the included runtime environment, installed it, but I have no way of running the program. I've reinstalled it once, and checked the Add/Remove programs list in the Control Panel, and it says that everything has been installed, but there is no shortcut on my desktop or in the start menu to run it. Help?

Do you get a error when you try to run a application?

No, nothing is out of the ordinary. When it installed for whatever reason it didn't give me any way of running the program.I've gone through everything under Program Files/Java and couldn't find anything that would run the program.
