trouble arranging texts labels texareas

hey i'm also having trouble with arranging stuff, i tried using like different panels and stuff and it worked really well, i was able to add text field, and labels but the moment when i introduced a text area everything went HUGE and the window became a mess, i have seen that you can use numbers to arrange stuff in the window, but i dont really know how that works...help!!
