As I understood the difference is only in management tools (and additional components like Directory Server or Web Server). Am I right? From the other side: is it possible to build cluster application (using load balancing) on PE? Currently I'm developing application under PE 9 U1 and I don't know does it handle the load (about 90 users).

Thanks in advance

If you want Failover and High Availability of your data (http session), then you will have to use EE (Cluster or Enterprise profile in Appserver 9.1). Currently, we do not have EE version of Appserver 9.

For Appserver 9.1, there is going to be a change in nomenclature...there's going to be Developer profile (like PE), Cluster profile and Enterprise profile.

Check out the below paper for more details :

Hm. When Cluster Edition 9.1 will be available? How many users can use application (JSF 1.2) simultaneously on PE 9.1? I know that is quite hard to say but could you to state this?
