6.1SP7 certutil: unable to generate key(s)

Hi

Anyone seen this?

SJS Web Server 6.1 SP7

Solaris 10 SPARC 11/06

1. Create cert database

# /opt/SUNWwbsvr/bin/https/admin/bin/certutil -N -d /opt/SUNWwbsvr/alias -P https-admserv-example-

2. Create self-signed cert - fails

# /opt/SUNWwbsvr/bin/https/admin/bin/certutil -S -s "CN=server.example.com" -n Server-Cert -x -v 60 -t "CTu,CTu,CTu" -1 -2 -5 -m 1 -d /opt/SUNWwbsvr/alias -P https-admserv-example-

certutil: unable to generate key(s)

: An I/O error occurred during security authorization.

Thanks

I guess you removed the db; if you created the db again or not set the password , set the password for db
