Why it will show /etc/motd twice via ssh in Solaris8?

Hi,

The OS id Solaris8 and installed the SSHD service(OpenSSH_3.1p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090603f), it works well now, hwoever, there's 1 condition annoyed me, please kindly advice:

Whenever login, it will shown the /etc/motd content twice, like:

Sun Microsystems Inc.SunOS 5.8Generic PatchFebruary 2004

Sun Microsystems Inc.SunOS 5.8Generic PatchFebruary 2004

How to eliminate the surplusage? I mean only show once is enough, not twice.
