sunMC 3.6.1 - ports to open

I have installed sunMC 3.6.1. server, agent, and console on a Solaris host located in our trusted network. The sunMC agent was installed on Solaris hosts that are located in our trusted network and in our DMZ.

What ports should be opened in our firewall to allow sunMC server and console to communicate with sunMC agent on hosts located in our DMZ?

All ports are the default sunMC ports except

- 161: using 16161 instead

- 56000: using 56001 instead

SunMC server <-> agent: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=854&threadID=5152147Console <-> SunMC server: look in the javaconsole.properties where the Console resides.Hope this helps.

What about port 161?Shouldn't this also be opened?

SInce you use 16161, it should be 16161
