OpenMp for dummys

First excuse me for my English i know is not good enough but i磎 trying to improve.

I磎 new in this list and i hope a little help.

I磎 trying to create a OpenMP application for testing the use and performance of a SunFire v440 with 4 cores, i磎 using a pi calculation using Montecarlo aproximation and i have the problem that the no parallel program its faster than the serial version. I磛e tryed two or three versions found on internet.

Please, Please Could someone say me how to start. I have a lot of information of the net but i can磘 see nothing that really works like i hope.

Where can i find simple source codes of openMP that i could see that really works.
