metaset - unable to take ownership

Hi, I have been trying to take ownership for this newly created disk set but the system never allows me. Even i tried to shutdown one node but still not working. The system always gives me error

metaset: essdbp01: ora-dbp-dg: must be owner of the set for this command

How can I take the ownership for this disk set? Also, the specified disk set is being shown offline in sun cluster/VM.

I managed to fix it up. Infact the root disk was mirrored from a running server and in order to boot the machine, i had removed all md* files from /etc/lvm. Since md.tab file also got removed which contains all the meta set information, the system was simply not able to find any info. I recreated the file and the meta sets with the disk sets and everything start working fine.
