Solaris 10 11/06 unable to install from CD no. 2 on ML370G5

Hi,

I am trying to install Solaris 10 on HP ML370G5 server with P400 RAID Controller.

I downloaded the RAID driver from HP site.

I was able to run the install CD #1 succesfully but after reboot OS fails to come up.

When I select the Failsafe mode it says No installed OS Instance found.

What could be the problem?

My server Config is 73x6GB HDD

8 GB RAM

2xDUAL core Xeon procesor

GRUB comes up, but not Solaris? I wonder whether GRUB has a config problem, or some issue with your particular RAID. Very strange behaviour.

The problem was solved by using single DVD mediathanks
