Screen Resolution During Installation Problem

When I did a fresh installation of Solaris 10, I have screen colour distortion during the installation.I could just make out what the words were to get through the whole installation. However, post installation the graphics where normal again.

What I see during installation is this blue background... The typical colour is green, black, red.All the colour is distorted. It is nothing like the one shown in the installation guide.

My grahpics card: ATI Technology Radeon X1650

My Monitor: BenQ FP71E+ 17" LCD

So during installation what monitor/display options do I choose to gain proper display? Tell the the monitor type, resolution and so forth?

Perhaps you might use a different graphics card?

Installation happens with a generic resolution, such as 800x600,

and that might effect how your card functions during those moments.

(monitors are dumb recipients of whatever is fed to them.
