regarding v440 sun solaris server
On typing this command:-tail -f /var/adm/messages
I get the following error:-
tcp: [ID 995438 kern.warning] WARNING: High TCP con
nect timeout rate! System (port 80) may be under a SYN flood attack!
Can anybody tell me is there any harm with this syn flood attack .If yes then hoe i will rectify it.
