Help with the installation f the jdk 6

Please i will like to know what i should do,whenever i try to install the Java jdk 6 version on my system, the system would write that i should contact my product vendor that the installation package is not supported by my processor type.I used the NEC mobile AMD Athlon(tm)-M 1700+.

I do not know what to do please i need help urgently.

Thanks you guys i have been able to get past this stage and actualy the sun java site was having poblems then,i have downloaded this and i need help or links to resources that can begin to help me learn this language.I am an intending student and very soon the school will be resuming and it is one of the prerequisite that i must learn.
