a gross error leading to a magnanimus problem

i have installed jdk 6.0 and jre 6.0 in different folders ! then a deleted them manually in an incorrect manner i.e just deleted it simply! now whenever i try to run the jdk installer to install it a message is displayed : Internal Error 2573:RegUtils .what does this mean? can i save my machine without formatting it again?i require java for my boards .... please help!!!!!!

Using regedit delete every mention you can find concerning jdk or jre 6.I am not a Windows "expert" though, so this advice is provided with no guarnatee, whatsoever, either explicit or implied. Use at your own risk.;-)
The Registry entries that are causing your problem are under \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft I'm not sure if RegCleaner (or whatever) will remove them for you. But you should use it anyway, because it will get rid of the uninstall data that's also stored in the Registry.
