add a button in excel through java

i would like to know how to add a button in excel through java....the excel is populated on execution of the java code.. can jexcel api be used for this?the button in the excel file on activation should call an vb application.would anyone help me on this...
Why aren't you asking at the JExcel or POI mailing list? They can be expected to be able to answer questions about their products.
