I am not getting OK Prompt on Netra 20

Hi Gurus,I am havign Netra 20 with dual processor 4 gb of ram.I am getting LOM Prompt in that but i m unable to go to OK PromptCan anybody tell me how to go to OK PromptThanksVaibhav

Assuming your are seeing the console correctly.

The OK prompt only appears when the machine is shutdown.

So assuming you are seeing a login prompt. Just login as root and do

shutdown -y -g0 -i0 (or init 0).

If your not seeing a login prompt. Then maybe you arent in console mode.

Try a "console" command.

I am getting LOM prompt but not os login screenLOM> in that i have tried break and console commands but it doesnt work dont goes to ok prompt the system is not booted while booting it simply goes to lom prompt not going to ok prompt.Please suggest what should i do.

console should either take you to the login prompt if the system is booted.Or take you to a ok prompt if its not.what do you see when you type console.Don't just say "it doesnt work". Tell us what happens...

I am getting following message

after this message of Host Console i m not getting any mesage further.

Does hitting return a couple of times do anything.What do you get from a break command.

on break command also it stops at [Host Console] list.lom>break[Host console]Is there any way that it gives me ok prompt.

I'm beginning to think hardware fault.Its as if the main computer isnt even powered on.The lom is essentially a separate little computer for diagnostics..So it can function even if the main motherboard is dead.

Hi,Thanks for ur support. I hv rectified problem. its both ultraSPARC Processor and 4 Memory modules are not working.after changing Processor and memory modules its gets workingThanks,Vaibhav
