xsession
hi all,
after i made a backup for the system, I couldn't login to multiuser mode.
means that the welcome login windows not appear so no user name can access no passwd,
only single user mode work.
i find that system run well, and when i Take its environment from other PC, I found that it work 100% ok.
then, what is the problem ?

sorry, my description was not clear.
the problem that i cannot access GUI,with error message (X-server can't be display) then open OK prompt.
i made many troubleshooting tries on tdlogin file, stop it , start it.
some one suggested to reinstall the patch for the GUI,
Are there other solutions?

sounds like you're trying to login as root directly with your xclient (remotely to your server)
why not try a different non-root user (non-uid 0) so you don't need to go about running xhost + or xhost <some ip here>
you may need to be even more descriptive yet, like how are you trying to connect in (for example, running XDMCP query against the machine, or are you just going passive, with rexec/ssh/whatever and trying to execute a command remotely to open a term to your display?)

infact i try to access direct from the system, not remotely.
but the problem it cant access to GUI, only on OK prompt.
it is runnig fine but no GUI.
moreover, i try to access with other user, still same problem.
can i reinstall the GUI Patch? if yes, how can I?
thanks

still not enough information -
why not start with the basics, are you accessing from a console (computer with monitor) or from serial port
once logged in -
ps -aef|egrep dtlogin
to verify it's running, if not, then /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e
if no users can connect in, then check - /etc/dt/config/Xaccess and if it has restrictions, for now, move the file to Xaccess.old
