log files

Hi there

This is totaly newbi question, so when you stop laughing find some time and answer.

I am interested in log files

Where can I find them.

Primary, I have problem with one cluster which has Solaris 8 on it, and has to be shutdown for UPS maintenance.

Since it has been known for having problems with booting, I need to know what has been done last time cluster was shutdown, to do the same. Just to be prepared.
