Large Mail Groups
I am in need of creating a very large dynamic dist list. The problem is that the members will be upwards of 10,000 . When I do a normal ldapsearch with the same dynamic filter.. it times out..will I have to worry about this when creating the mailgroup with the attribute memberurl.
I get the following error when doing an imsimta test -rewrite

When it comes to the resolution of large groups there are two things to consider:
1. The time taken and limitations imposed by the LDAP server i.e. performance tuning the LDAP server, modifying the settings for the messaging server admin user:

Please also ensure that the search being performed is indexed, i.e. the search doesn't have 'notes=U' in the results line.
2. How messaging server expands and processes the results of dynamic URL's.
