Installing JAVA Compiler in Linux

I want to install JAVA in Linux operating system.

I got instructions how to install from

http://www.linux.com/howtos/Enterprise-Java-for-Linux-HOWTO-2.shtml

Choosing to download Sun JAVA, I was directed to this website

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/index.html

I chose to download J2SDK 1.2, I got the download page

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.2.2_017/index.html

Then I clicked the Download Button,

I got a fatal error page. Then, I was unable to proceed further and download. Why? What's wrong with the download archive?

The same problem occurred also with J2SDK 1.3, 1.4, 5, 6, all.

Sounds like the download page is broken (again), they'll fix it maybe in a few hours or by Monday latest.
