If money wasn't a problem, which phone for developers?

It was discussed some time ago at http://www.j2meforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=12008.15, but imagine one is given the choice of a phone (for j2me project development) and money is not the problem.

I agree Sony Ericsson makes life easier for developers, but what about the Nokia N95 with GPS, and so many supported API?

I was in love some time ago with the Motorola A780, and its GPS, but now i have doubts.

Thanks for your opinion.

Since you asked for an opinion ....

If I was developing my application for a single device, then I'm partial to the Noka E61 (http://forum.nokia.com/devices/E61) as it has a nice display, full keyboard, 802.11, and supports a bunch of APIs (ok, there are others but I LIKE Nokia stuff).

But I guess it really depends on the scope of "the project". In reality (and since money is no object), I would like about 2 dozen devices spanning the range of manufacturers and APIs. A bulk of the difficulties I have experienced were from incompatibilities between vendors and between old and new devices from the same vendor.

One of EVERY device would be nice, but then I would have problems testing ...
