Sending Emails in a CDC application

I just tried this yesterday, and got to the point where I realized that the Foundation 1.0 JCL, doesn't support what I need from JavaMail 1.4x. Perhaps the alternative, is to read the RFCs, and write a native client, or maybe FTP the file(s)?
