Sanyo 8400 Timer Problem

Hi Everyone,

I have been using the Timer and TimerTask classes in my application to reconnect to the server each five minutes to get new data. For the most part of the mobiles fones the schedule task work properly, however the Sanyo 8400 mobile the schedule task runs once or twice. Does anybode have an idea what should I do to solve this problem? Any help is going be appreciated.
